The wet desulfurization of the flue gas in the thermal power plant increases the corrosion of the chimney. The titanium steel clad plate as the inner cylinder is one of the most effective anti-corrosion methods. To add a layer of titanium alloy plate or titanium plate on the inside of the steel plate by explosive welding will produce a new clad material: the titanium steel clad plate which saves the cost while preventing corrosion.

Each large hydropower plant needs about 200 tons of clad steel plates, which is mainly used for bin, hopper, chute, dehydrator and other parts. Nickel steel clad plate and stainless steel clad steel plate are used in hydropower industry for sand bottom hole, diversion bottom hole, lock corridor, gate liner, etc. They are with high wear resistance, impact resistance and appropriate corrosion resistance.
Nuclear power plants
Nuclear power is an essential part of the fight against climate change because it allows the production of low-carbon electricity. Components used in the construction of nuclear power plants, including those made of clad plates, must meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Gallianz has been present in the supply of parts meeting the most demanding construction codes (ASME, etc) . Our clad plates welded with carbon and low alloy steels with stainless steels ( 304L, 316L or 304 B4 , etc) have been used for the fabrication of components like steam generators, primary pumps, steam water lines or safety water tanks in all the major technologies used worldwide.
Gallianz also produces special stainless steel clad plates for nuclear waste containers, and a range of special stainless steel for the prototype nuclear fusion reactors. These special clad plates are also used in nuclear physics for projects such as particle accelerators.
In the field of nuclear energy engineering (Monel600,600 alloy stress corrosion resistance and alkali corrosion resistance), the nickel and nickel-base alloy-clad steel plate is produced and used for high-power steam generator tube sheets. The nickel and nickel-base alloy-clad steel plate is also used for uranium refining and isotope separation equipment, seamless water pipes, steam pipes, seawater exchangers and evaporators in power plant.
